Dr. Ghanem is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and in the Department of Population, Family, and Reproductive Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg of Public Helath. He is the current president of the American STD Association. His area of expertise is sexually transmitted infections with a particular focus on syphilis.
