Natasha Hochberg, MD, MPH is Director, Global Health Translational Medicine at Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research. She is also volunteer Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine (Section of Infectious Diseases) at BU School of Medicine where she worked for 12 years and was the Infectious Disease Fellowship Program Director. for the past 20 years, Dr. Hochberg’s research has focused on tropical diseases. Particularly, she studies Chagas disease and other diseases in immigrant populations, the impact of malnutrition and parasitic disease on tuberculosis, and preventing diseases in international travelers.
