Dr. Ella Ariza-Heredia is an Associate Professor of Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is currently the director of the Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant Infectious Diseases clinical service. Dr. Ariza-Heredia is also an expert on managing complex Infectious Diseases in patients living with cancer. Furthermore, her main areas of research includes: viral infections particularly CMV and respiratory viruses, as well as immunizations strategies in the immunocompromised host.
