Lena Heung, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and a Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles. She is a physician-scientist with a particular interest in host immune responses to respiratory fungal pathogens, including Cryptococcus species.
