Dr. Emily Erbelding is an infectious disease physician and scientist. Since 2016, she has served as the Director of the Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, NIH. In this role, she oversees a $2.0 extramural research portfolio in basic, translational and clinical research covering all infectious disease pathogens except HIV.
